Bidspirit auction | A Trio of Rossini Mid-Century

A Trio of Rossini Mid-Century Modern Wood and Brass Flying Geese Wall Sculptures - A trio of Mid-Century Modern wall sculptures, attributed to Rossini, depicting stylized flying waterfowl (geese or ducks). Each figure features a carved, dark stained wooden body with a black painted head and neck tip, accented by gold-toned banding around the neck. The prominent, stylized wings are formed from sheets of polished brass or brass-plated metal, secured to the wooden body. The reverse side of one figure bears visible markings, possibly an initialed signature and date such as R. K. 69, suggesting a production year of 1969.
