Sterling Silver Marcasite and Mother-of-Pearl Cameo Convertible Brooch Pendant Necklace - Sterling silver necklace featuring a convertible pendant/brooch. The chain is a delicate snake style secured by a spring ring clasp stamped 925. The pendant features an ornate oval frame heavily accented with numerous small, round-cut faceted stones that appear to be marcasite, set in a pave-like technique. The central element is a high-relief carved female profile cameo, which appears to be mother-of-pearl or shell, set against a black backing stone that appears to be onyx or black glass. The reverse of the piece is constructed with both a fixed bail for chain wear and a hinged pin stem with a rollover safety clasp, allowing it to be worn as a brooch or a pendant. Hallmarks include 925 on the chain clasp.
