Vintage 'EXCELSIOR' Embossed Leather Strap Cairns Bros. - A vintage, medium-width leather strap, featuring a lighter-colored, heavily cracked and patinated front surface. The strap is prominently embossed with the word ”EXCELSIOR” in decorative, raised lettering within a central cartouche. The reverse side consists of a darker, likely black or dark brown, leather backing. One end terminates with a dark, worn metal buckle attached via a reddish-brown leather tab, while the opposing end features multiple adjustment holes and a small, tarnished brass-toned metal plate secured by two rivets. The plate bears faint, worn engraved text, which appears to read ”Cairns Bros” on one line and ”GRAND ST”
