A SPAAMFAA High Front Fire Helmet with Running Fireman Finial and Two Commemorative Badges - This lot features a vintage firefighter's helmet, identified as a Cairns Bros. Tin Senator model, paired with two commemorative badges. The helmet is constructed from a black hard material, likely leather or composite, and features a prominent red leather frontispiece adorned with ”SPAAMFAA” and ”EFM” lettering surrounding a central motif of an axe and ladders. A bronze-toned finial depicting a standing firefighter is affixed to the helmet's crown, stamped on its reverse with ”R.S. & P. WATTERS, N.Y.” and ”FEB. 28, 1972.” Internally, the helmet has a light-colored fabric liner, a dark brown leather rim, and a metal dome bearing a circular red and white emblem that reads ”CAIRNS BROS.
