Antique Clyde's Dowser Fire Extinguisher Glass Bottle - An Antique Clyde's Dowser Fire Extinguisher Glass Bottle. This clear, mold-blown glass bottle features a flattened ovoid body, a short, flanged neck, and an irregular, ruffled rim. The body is extensively decorated with embossed rococo-style foliate and scrollwork motifs, including a central medallion on one side depicting a lion's head or similar heraldic device. The base also features a deeply molded, undulating pattern. A paper label on the base reads ”OWS? NY” (possibly Owego, NY) and identifies it as a ”'DOWSER' BOTTLE.”
