G. J. Adler, A Dictionary of the German and English Languages, D. Appleton and Company, 1891 - A Dictionary of the German and English Languages by G. J. Adler, published by D. Appleton and Company, New York, in 1891. This large 19th-century dictionary features a half-leather binding with paper-covered boards. The spine, adorned with five raised bands, displays gilt lettering that reads ”ADLER'S GERMAN & ENGLISH DICTIONARY”. The title page notes an earlier copyright date of 1848.
