Figural-Stem Kerosene Stand Lamp with Flint-Enamel / Rockingham Glazed Pottery Base - Figural-Stem Kerosene Stand Lamp with Flint-Enamel / Rockingham Glazed Pottery Base Palmette or leaf patterned blown-molded colorless glass font fitted with a No. 2 collar with shoulder plate, raised on a gilt cast-metal stem in the form of a kneeling woman carrying a large torch, bolted to a two-step blue and brown flint-enamel glazed octagonal yellowware/buff earthenware base. Second half 19th century. Dimensions: 13” H, 6” W base. Condition: Virtually undamaged with minor rubbing to gilding on stem and one very small flake to a corner of the pottery base.
