English Mochaware Bowl with Combed and Marbled Slip Decoration - English Mochaware Bowl with Combed and Marbled Slip Decoration Hemispherical footed bowl decorated with a green-glazed reeded rim band above a variegated and finely combed band of various colored slips. Fourth quarter 18th/first quarter 19th century. Dimensions: 3 1/4” H, 7 1/4” D rim. Condition: Good condition with moderate overall wear/scratching especially on interior, and several short glazed-over vertical lines from rim, likely as-made. Provenance: The Stradling Study Collection. Purchased from Charles Sterling (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), 04/24/2002.
