Provenance: Property from a Private Park Avenue, New York Collection Sight: 21 x 20 3/4 in. (53.3 x 52.7 cm.), Frame: 31 x 25 in. (78.7 x 63.5 cm.) Condition: Not examined out of frame. Verso fitted with a window showing label which reads “Hilla Rebay: Animation. (Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation Collection). Gallery of non-objective painting. New York.” Some rippling and scattered crease marks. Some foxing along bottom edge. Small tear at center right edge. Diagonal crease in upper right corner. Some losses/creasing to grey pigment in center left and top edge left of center. Handling crease near tear. Some discoloration. Small spidering effect to blue pigment above similar area in grey pigment. Minor rub and wear to frame.
