Anglo-Irish Cut Glass Pitcher and Five Goblets - Anglo-Irish Cut Glass Pitcher and Five Goblets 18th/19th C. etching with a fist holding two snakes and grapevines. Goblet: 7 1/4 x 4 in. (18.4 x 10.2 cm.), Pitcher: 12 1/2 x 5 x 5 in. (31.8 x 12.7 x 12.7 cm.) Condition: Pitcher: Heavy crystal wonderfully etched with a hand clutching two serpents surrounded by a wreath of grape vines. Ligh surface wear. Some flea bite chips to high ridges to the right and left of the base of the handle. Small chip to underside of foot. Some light chatter near one etched diamond on the side. All glasses with light wear. No visible cracks or repairs, some with ½ diamond pattern near etched cartouche with flea bites / roughness, but likely a result of its production. Some may have a minor flea bite on underside of foot. Otherwise, the whole set is in overall very good condition and would recommend. Thank you for your interest in our upcoming sale.
