Knapton Londini 1739” in gilt wood frame and the other, Plate 1 from William Hogarth's ”A Rake's Progress”, lower right states ”Invented Painted and Engraved by Wm Hogarth, Published June 25, 1735 according to Act of Parliament” in black and gilt painted wood frame; used condition, wear/worn, surface distress, discoloration, warping to Hogarth image under glass, losses and scratches to frames, not examined outside of frames, tiny puncture lower left to John Russell image; largest measures approximately 24 1/2” x 21 1/2” overall with sight size of approximately 16 1/4” x 14 1/4”, John Russell image measures approximately 16” x 21 1/2” overall with sight size of approximately 9 1/2” x 15” Condition: Condition reports are not provided in catalog descriptions.
