Two Cast Brass Trumpet-Base Mid-Drip Candlesticks - English, mid-17th C. The ribbed example retains traces of a touchmark stamped on the drip-pan. At least eight candlesticks of this form and bearing this mark have survived. Similar examples of both can be found in the V&A Museum.
