European Silver Model Galleon - Southern European, possibly Sicilian, ca. 1700, three-masted galleon flying what appears to be the Sicilian flag, highly detailed silver figurehead upon a filigree-decorated bow, seven silver figures, silver sails and rigging, mounted with 28 guns (one missing), stern filigree-decorated with cut stone and sheet of mica in cabin windows, two flags bearing later 19th C. Dutch import marks Wear commensurate with age. Appx. 4-1/2”h x 3-5/8”w x 1-1/2”d and appx. 4.8 t.o. Condition: Condition reports are not provided in catalog descriptions.
