Late 1800's European Souvenir Coin Purse Mother of Pearl and Metal Frame - Victorian era European coin purse marked Souvenir on the lid. The purse features mother of pearl panels set into a decorative stamped metal frame with scalloped edges and a side mounted clasp. The interior opens to reveal two red fabric compartments separated by a metal divider. The metal edges visible inside are part of the original frame construction.Measures approximately 3 1/2 inches by 2 3/8 inches by 5/8 inch. Condition is excellent for its age with clean mother of pearl, a tight hinge, and well preserved interior fabric. No repairs or alterations noted. A well made example of a continental European souvenir accessory from the Victorian period. Condition: Authentic
