Outstanding WW1 37 MM Trench Art Shell Casing - Outstanding WW1 37 MM Trench Art Shell Casing. This shell Boldly depicts the United States Flag (appears to have 48 stars), the double cross and a heart with the initials FK etched in it. The base of the shell reads AMLOT 1075-28MODEL CF 37 MM GUN PE & CO LOT 84. Not sure if that 84 is the date or not. PE & Co didnt start making ammo until the late 1880's and the number of the stars on the flag is correct for 1914-1918. The casing has the extended inner fuse which could be used for a pencil holder. This shell measures 2 7/8” Tall. Condition: Original Authentic
