Northern Pacific Pullman Car Stained Glass Transom
For your consideration is this Northern Pacific Pullman Car arched- stained glass transom circa early 1900's. was a transcontinental railroad that operated across the northern tier of the western United States, from Minnesota to the Pacific Northwest. The Pullman Car was used to refer to railroad sleeping cars that were built and operated on most U.S. railroads by the Pullman Company (founded by George Pullman) from 1867 to December 31, 1968. The stained glass shows glue chipped textured green and yellow stained lead lined glass. The condition of this transom is fair and shows its age with some chipping to the green paint on the face of the transom however the integrity of the stained glass is good. The measurements of this transom is 54" x 10 1/4".
