Large Original Tudor Era, 16th Century English Executioners Beheading Axe - Scarce Large Original Tudor Era, 16th Century English Executioners Beheading Axe w/ Ash Wood Hasp. This rare historical Axe used in the removal of heads during Tudor Era of England during the early to mid 16th century (1520's-1550's). The head of the Axe measures approximately 13.0 inches long with a blade edge measuring 9.25 inches and a 8.50 inch neck. The overall length is 30.0 inches from haft to head. Beautiful Ornate Design typical of England. Provenance: Antique Axe Collection from a former Museum in Edinburgh Scotland.
