The warm ivory and camel field is framed by a striking dark-blue border filled with bold floral palmettes. Room-size Malayer carpets of approximately 15 by 11 feet are far less commonly encountered than runners and smaller village rugs. Its scale, subdued coloration, and intricate design make this an exciting decorative example from the region.
