Kuba weavers developed an extraordinary variety of designs, ranging from geometric medallions and floral lattices to stylized animals and dense repeating devices. Compared with the heavier drawing of many Kazak rugs, Kuba examples are often more finely woven and intricately patterned. Its small scale makes this an appealing collector?s rug and an excellent candidate for wall display.
