The extended repeating composition creates a strong visual rhythm along the entire length of the carpet, while the dense Bidjar structure gives it exceptional physical presence. Its unusually generous width further distinguishes it from narrower commercial runners. Long antique runners in practical dimensions are increasingly sought after because they can furnish spaces for which authentic replacements are extremely difficult to find.
