The border is adorned with auspicious Chinese seals and calligraphic emblems symbolizing happiness (?), longevity (?), prosperity (?), and good fortune (?), common blessings in early 20th-century decorative arts. The larger inscription reads ?????????? (Supervised manufacture -?woven in the Imperial Court / Prosperous Workshop), a traditional mark evoking quality and prestige rather than literal imperial origin.
