Bidspirit auction | Rare A. Schraders Son WW2

Rare A. Schraders Son WW2 US Navy Dive Knife - During World War 2 there were eight different companies that made and applied their names on US Navy diving knives. Examples from some of these companies are very difficult to find for a variety of reasons. One company that is extremely difficult to find examples from is A. Schrader's Son. While this company supplied a large number of Mark V helmets and other components, contracts for knives were nearly non-existent for them. This knife is very good original condition with minimal signs of use. The brass sheath features A. Schrader's Son stamped towards the top. The wood handle is in excellent condition with no cracks. The blade shows slight hints of age and light use with some surface scratches. As one of the rarest WWII era knives, this example would great addition to any collection.
