Oil on wood, portrait of one of the Admorim of Ruzhin, probably the Admor ofShtefanesht. Europe, end of the 19th century. - Small oil painting on wood, unique and interesting for the portrait of one of the Ruzhineradmorim. According to the dating on the back, probably Admor Rabbi Avraham Matityahu Friedman, the second Admor of Shtefanesht, whose face is described much in the manner of the figure in this painting. Could also be another Admor of Ruzhin from this period. Signed R. Valanek (RaimundValanek written on the back, 1851-1924). Size without the frame: 15.5x10cm. Slight defects, generally good condition. Given inside a gilded wooden frame, handsome, some cracks to the frame.
