Oil painting on canvas, depicting with great precision of the face of the chassid Rabbi Avraham Sternhertz (1862-1955), great-grandson of Rabbi Natan Sternhertz, a student of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. He was a leader of Breslov chassidut in the 4th generation. Served as prayer leader in Uman often, including Rosh Hashanah, and founded the kibbutz at the Rashbi’s grave in Meron.
A fine work signed by the artist, Yaniv Goldstein. Side: 30x30cm. Light defects—see picture. Overall good condition.
