Rare! Sefer LIkutei Moharan The First Edition in Eretz Yisrael with the Gilt Title Page and Letters - Jerusalem, 1874

Fourth edition of the famed work - edited by Rabbi Pesach Zeslevsky (a wealthy Breslov Chassid in Tsherin , Gabai of the Kloiz in Uman on Rosh Hashana) - Jerusalem, 1874. Contains both sections - Kadme'a: 4, 122, [1] leaves. Tanina: [1], 44, [3] leaves. Printed leaf-by-leaf after the Breslov 1821 edition; yet with the addition of "מעשה נוראה שסיפר רבינו" on the last page.

Special edition from the Holy Land!

This is the first time that this sacred book was printed in Eretz Yisrael. Based on the custom of Jerusalem, here too printed illustrations of the holy places were integrated, yet for the first time, with a Chassidic flavor - at the end of section I, an illustration of the Chassidic synagogue Tiferet Yisrael of the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem. The first title page, with gilt letters and border. At the end of the book, the three words "חזק חזק חזק" are also gilt as well as the version on verso of the leaf: "עתה מי ישים לנו פה לדבר..." . This data does not appear in the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book and it seems that these gilt words are rare. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection of course!

Partly detached binding. Ancient leather spine. Wide margins. Stains, most of them minor. Some moth perforations. Some tears not affecting the text. Fine copy in good condition.
