Compiled by Rabbi Avraham Chaim Simcha Bunim Michlsohn of Plonsk. Printed in the Landsberg Refugee Camp, 1948. [1], 72 leaves. Fine new binding. Some of the leaves are cut, not affecting the text. Small tears to the edges. Minor stains. A stain along the right side of the title page. Good overall condition. 

On the title page, a signature in fine square script: "לוי יצחק בענדער". On the flyleaf, a lengthy notation handwritten by him, indicating that he purchased the book in the refugee camp in Germany after the war: "לד' הארץ ומלואה- זה הספר שייך להשב ר' לוי יצחק בענדער כעת בבד רייכנהל ש"ו"

This copy was owned by the leader of the Breslov Chassidim Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Bender, the central Matik Hashmu'ah of the previous generation. He discovered the Breslov Torah at the age of 17 and became a Breslov Chassid even moving to Uman and relentlessly following the Breslov instructions such as saying Tikkun Chatzot and praying at dawn, Hitbodedut of an hour per day, for seventy years. 

Once, he was arrested by the Soviets for distributing Judaism and was rescued in the last moment. During World War II, he lived in Bukhara. After the war, he lived in the DP camps in Germany, serving as Dayan and Moreh Hora'ah of the refugees. In 1949, he immigrated to Israel.
