Set of Chamisha Chumshei Torah with Or Hachaim and Be'er Mayim Chaim Approbated by the Holy Rav of Ruzhin, the Toras Chaim of Kosov and More - Chernowitz, 1849-1951
Chamisha Chumshei Torah with the three translations: Onkelos, Yonatan ben Uziel and Yerushalmi. With the Rashi's commentary, Or Hachaim and Be'er Mayim Chaim by the Admor Rabbi Chaim Tirrer, the author of Sidduro shel Shabbat. Printed in Chernowitz during the years 1849-1951.
Originally, [1], 364, [2] leaves. This copy lacks 2 leaves at its end. In Bereshit, a title page from another edition,
In Chumash Vayikra, a forged title page Mahlov, 1811, yet according to the colophon - Chernowitz.
Important approbations by leading Chassidic rabbis of the period - appearing first are the Admorim who were in-laws:
Rabbi Yisroel of Ruzhin and the Toras Chaim of Kosov. In addition, Rabbi Sholom of Kaminka, the Beis Shlomo of Skole and Rabbi Yitzchak Shimshon Horowitz Av Beis Din of Bukovina.
Fine new bindings. In some of the volumes, bluish paper. Creases and stains. Varied blemishes. Has not been thoroughly examined.
