The researcher Rabbi David Zvi Hillman was an expert on the history of the Baal HaTanya and corresponded with the Rebbe of Lubavitch. This book is one of the first about the Baal HaTanya and among the most important ever written about him. The book gathers letters from the Baal HaTanya from various sources, and a maamar about the Kherson geniza.
