Volume with both sections of the work Ohr Sameach, “written on each of the books of the Mishneh Torah of the Rambam.” First section on Science, Love, and Zmanim—first edition, Riga 1926. 183 pages. Second section “published first”, on Nashim and Kedusha. First edition, Warsaw 1902. 247 pages. Binding and first and last pages are detached, some with tape and tears. Otherwise overall good condition.
Signature of ownership on the blank first page: “Aharon Jacobowitz, relative of Rabbi Shlomo of Devinsk.” Rabbi Aharon Jacobowitz (1914-1973) was the son of Rabbi Elchanan (Chanan Griver), Rosh Yeshiva of Mir and Bialystock. Son-in-law of Rabbi Aryeh Levin (the Jerusalem Tzaddik and Father of the Prisoners). A student of the sages in Jerusalem and a leader of the Harry Fischel system and Otzar HaPoskim.
