Collection of pictures and documents of a Jewish family in Lodz. Poland, 20th century
16 photographs from a Jewish family, showing various episodes from family life: an extended family meal, a toast, a walk in the city’s streets, a student backgrounded by his school(?), and more. One photo is dated on the back to 1926, and an additional one is dated 1946 (before and after the war—others might be during the war). Various inscriptions in Polish and Yiddish on the backs. There are 4 copies of 1 photograph. There is also a letter in a local language, and a card in German about free participation in the Jewish school. Various sizes, generally good condition.
