The calendar along the bottom is so diminished by the image as to almost be an afterthought. The artist signature of C Warde Traver, however, cannot be missed positioned as it is against the vast open area of her wrap. A beautiful and rare piece. Some minor creases are present as shown but there are no tears, even at the edge. The metal strips at top and bottom are quite straight and still have most of their original gold finish.
