Kips Bay Pre-Prohibition Factory Scene Litho 1913 Calendar EXCEPTIONAL - Brewer: Kips Bay Brewing Co., New York, New York Date of manufacture: Pre-Prohibition Dimensions: Comments/description: Very rare, possibly unique.  This is the ONLY example of this litho we have seen.  Outstanding piece in outstanding condition. Upper portion depicts the towering Kips Bay brewery complex while the bottom shows the East River/New York Harbor with the trade mark Kips Bay gaff-rigged sloop in the foreground and mighty gunboat and Brooklyn Bridge in the background. The piece is bordered in gold Art Nouveau accents. Gorgeous. Provenance to the legendary Wil Anderson Collection. All items are original unless otherwise noted. Gold is bright as well, with just a few smaller darkened areas. Exceptional condition.
