This is the first version of this design and is Patents Pending, dating to early 1936. USBCOI has given it an on-grade rarity rating of R9. This example does not fall far short of that status as the most notable shortcomings are dings and dents that could be repaired/improved, leaving only minor blemishes in the paint as notable compromises to the aesthetic. These occur at the top of the text side panel, on UNI of UNIFORM, and to the left and on the B of BEER.
