Dawsons Extra Dry Ale Flat Top 53-9 EXCELLENT - Brewer/Business Name: Dawsons Brewery, New Bedford, Massachusetts Manufacturer/Plant: Continental Can Co. Date of manufacture: circa 1950s USBC reference: 53-9 Contents/Type: 12 oz Dimensions: 2-3/4 w x 5 h. Comments/description: Very clean for this label. While both faces display great, one side does have some minute oxidation spots in the center that are very hard to see in the photos. Other side is smooth and clean. In addition to the tiny marks visible in the pics, there are 3-4 small indents/dimples along the right edge of one face near the seam, while the other side has a slight handling ding at 1-o-clock of the oval and a few canning dings along the bottom. This one is much nicer than most we see as even the majority of indoor examples out there have significant humidity. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
