Date of manufacture: circa 1940s USBC reference: 203-4 Contents/Type: 32 oz Dimensions: 3-3/4 w x 7-1/2 h. Comments/description: Note the 1845 date at the top front of this variation, versus 1878 found on American Can Co. nearly identical design. Both are pretty tough. It has oxidation and discoloration of the dark green mostly on its left side while the right side is much cleaner and with very good color. Closer inspection reveals American Can Co. small hole at the bottom of the right side and American Can Co. dent in the lip of the spout beneath the crown. Appears to be in as-found condition and has never been cleaned with oxalic. Larger dings that do not show will be noted in the item description. A thin black vertical reflection may show on some can photos.
