Comments/description: Very appealing 1930s artwork on this label that depicts a crowned badger holding up a shield that reads BEST BY TEST. Lots of deep red offset by the perfect accents of black and silver used by so many brewers of the period. Condition is good, with some evident aging in the form of under-the-paint humidity right through advanced, heavier oxidation on the right side. Displays well with clear imagery and is solid as a rock. Ding at right base of seam may not show ell here. This is the variation with a Manhattan mandatory. R9 rarity on-grade.
