Pewter Lot Inc. Rare Geo. IV Quarter Pint or Gill Measure, This saize is also known as the Noggin or Quartern. In old English Taverns, this was used by Mine Host to measure and pour wine or spirits. Marked on the lip G. IV, an Excise mark stamped during that reign The date 1826 over a Portcullis, is the City of London, local Westminster mark. .
