Here, an exceptional Taino mace head, any are extremely rare. A normal size one with great angular shape. The tight, grained, dense and heavy stone , as a skull crusher , would have been originally attached to a wooden handle. One is known with a gut or sinew cordage wrapping it to a shaft of lignum vitae 2 3/4”H x 2 3/4”W
