Press mark 1865-1920, mint number 12, oval and slightly domed porcelain plate with extremely fine onglaze painting, breast piece of the wife of King Frederick William III. of Prussia after the famous portrait by Gustav Carl Ludwig Richter (1823-1884) painted in 1879, unsigned, according to the consignor by the porcelain painter Gustav Greiner-Vetter (1879-1944) from Lauscha, beautifully framed in gold moulding with bordeaux velvet passe-partout, plate with traces of mounting at the rim, otherwise in good condition for its age, dimensions of plate 13 x 10 cm, dimensions of frame 30 x 27 cm.
