WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR - New Geneva Pottery, c. 1875. Four-gallon, with stenciled ”NEW GENEVA POTTERY” and freehand ”4”, as well as flowers and stripes, and with lug handles. 14.5” high. Another 4-gallon jar with decoration by the same hand was sold as part of the Trimble collection at Amelia Jeffers Auctioneers, May 2024, lot 464. Provenance: A southeast Ohio collection.
