Highly unusual, in the form of an oval sardine can with ”SARDINES” stamped on both sides, and with the lid partially rolled back. 9.5” long. Provenance: a distinguished Midwestern collection; purchased from Garth's Auctions (Delaware, Ohio); exhibited at the Cincinnati Art Museum (2019-2020).
