ANNA POTTERY PIG FLASK - Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick, Anna, IL, 3rd quarter-19th century. Brown-glazed stoneware, of typical form, with early/original red paint on the lips and genitals, and inscription ”Pure Old Bourbon in a hog's--.” 8” long. Sold at Rock Island Auction Company, April 20, 2012, lot 3340. Condition: Wear to red paint; a chip to the pig's left ear, a small flake on its back, and a very small flake to its inside-right leg (all these are old chips/flakes); also a pinhead-sized burst potstone the back-left leg.
