CARRINGTON BOWLES HORSERACING PRINT - The print ”Atlas - the property of His Grace the Duke of Devonshire” features a race horse with rider up. Other horses can be seen racing in the background. It was printed for and sold by Carington Bowles, No. 69 in St. Paul's Church Yard, London in the late 18th century. It measures 14” x 9 7/8” (sight) and 16 1/4” x 12 1/4” framed. The frame is early but may or may not be original. This lot is eligible for pick-up or in-house shipping. Please contact us for a quote. Condition: The print has not been examined outside the frame. There are no obvious rips, tears or holes; however, the print could use a good cleaning as there are water stains and minor foxing along the bottom and right edges. The frame has some high point paint loss.
