EARLY CHINTZ QUILT - American, early 19th century, fitted to accommodate a four poster bed. The quilt is made from 7.5” squares of fabric and quilted at 5 - 6 stitches per inch. 102.5” by 93.5”. This lot is eligible for pick-up or in-house shipping. Please contact us for a quote. Condition: The quilt is in markedly good condition for its age. There are some stains on the back, some of which have bled through to the front but are easily overlooked due to the fabric pattern. The most significant of these can be seen in the photos. There is also a one 1 1/2” long area at the edge of one of the squares where it appears as if a seem may have let loose.
