BENJAMIN MORRILL SHELF CLOCK - Boscawen, New Hampshire, early 19th century, mahogany. Broken-arch crest over a signed and painted dial and paneled door, flanked by columns, and on turned feet. The dial door hinges and the bottom and the lower door hinges traditionally at the right. 37” high. This lot is eligible for pick-up or furniture/freight shipping. Condition: Refinished, replaced finial, minor veneer damage, some inpainting to the dial, retains weights, key, and pendulum (the flexible tab at the top is missing), one gooseneck has been glued, original pulls and feet, there are later screw holes to the sides of the case backs; we do not guarantee the working condition of clocks.
