SUGAR BOWL FROM THE FOUNDERED STEAMER VIRGINIA - Marked for Reed and Barton, silver plate, early 20th century. Two-handled bowl, lacking lid, but engraved ”Str. Virginia.” 4.25” high. (LR11)In March 1910, during high water, the Virginia made a wrong turn and ran aground in a field near Ravenswood, West Virginia. This bowl was salvaged from that wreck.
