INTERIOR SCENE BY EARL HASTINGS BEYMER (OHIO, 1890-1975) - Oil on board. Interior of what is likely the Beymers' parlor, with two women sitting and chatting, and with a Beymer winter landscape on the wall. In its original frame, 16” high, 18.5” wide (overall). Beymer was born in Beymerstown (now Old Washington), in Muskingum County. During his life, he created an impressive body of work depicting historical scenes, life in his hometown, and nature, and it includes paintings, carvings, and other mediameter. For his paintings, he typically made the frames as well. This grouping represents the first public offering of Beymer's work. Condition: Good; needs cleaned
