In a 19th-century birdseye maple frame: 18.5” high, 15” wide (overall). James Swigard (Sweigard) was born January 15 1845 to Jonas (1813-1880) and Elizabeth Heckert Miller (1814-1893) in Jackson Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and, according to this baptismal certificate, was baptized in 1854. Condition: Good; light toning and fading, not removed from frame for examination
