TEKLA BREAD ADVERTISING CRATE - Made for the National Biscuit Company (NABISCO), with its original paint on all four sides (two with the Tekla emblem and two with ”C105 BUFFALO), and with rope handles. 19.25” high, 34” wide, 21” deep. The crate was made by the Schwanbeck Brothers of Detroit, makers of store display items and fixtures. Tekla Bread first appeared on store shelves in northeast Ohio at the turn of the 20th century.
