TWO PAINTINGS BY EARL HASTINGS BEYMER (OHIO, 1890-1975) - Oils on panel. An historic view of Zane's trace, unframed, 12” high, 16” wide; together with a winter landscape of folks going to church, framed, 18” high, 22.5” wide (overall). Beymer was born in Beymerstown (now Old Washington), in Muskingum County. During his life, he created an impressive body of work depicting historical scenes, life in his hometown, and nature, and it includes paintings, carvings, and other media. For his paintings, he typically made the frames as well. Condition: Good; need cleaned
